Refund Policy.

At Ziply Sri Lanka, we follow a clear cancellation and refund policy so customers understand charges, timelines, and payment return methods before booking.

01. Cancellation Windows

Customers can cancel a booking before the rental start time. A fixed cancellation fee is applied to every approved cancellation.

    Cancellation Fee

    LKR 10,000 is deducted as a fixed cancellation charge.

  • 50%

    Balance Refund

    The remaining eligible balance is refunded to the original payment method.

  • 0%

    No-show Bookings

    No-show or invalid booking claims may be reviewed and can be marked non-refundable under platform rules.

02. Security Deposits

If a security hold or advance payment applies to your booking, it is handled according to the booking confirmation and inspection outcome.

Release Timeline

Any approved refundable amount is released after cancellation review and processed back to the same payment method.

03. Early Returns

Returning a vehicle earlier than the reserved return time does not automatically create a partial refund.

Pricing is based on the original booking period unless Ziply confirms a specific adjustment in writing.

04. Exceptional Circumstances

If a booking cannot proceed due to verified operational or legal restrictions, Ziply may provide a refund or booking credit based on case review.

Final decisions are made by Ziply after validating supporting details to ensure a fair outcome for all parties.

05. Refund Process

Refund handling follows the process below:

  • check_circle Request cancellation through Ziply support with your booking details.
  • check_circle A fixed LKR 10,000 cancellation fee is deducted from the paid amount.
  • check_circle The remaining refundable balance is returned to the original payment method within 7 to 14 working days.
