01. General Use
Ziply provides vehicles for temporary rental through its digital platform.
The Customer is the person who makes and confirms a booking.
The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
The fuel level at return must be the same as the fuel level at handover. Any fuel difference may be charged to the Customer.
02. Driver & Usage Rules
The Customer must hold a valid driving license and must provide accurate details during booking and pickup verification.
- arrow_forward Only authorized drivers approved by Ziply may operate the vehicle.
- arrow_forward The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, including transport of prohibited goods or criminal acts.
- arrow_forward Drunk driving, driving under drugs, dangerous driving, and reckless behavior are strictly prohibited.
The Customer must not lend, sub-rent, or transfer control of the vehicle to unauthorized persons.
03. Liability & No Insurance Coverage
Important Notice
Ziply does not provide insurance coverage for rented vehicles under these Terms & Conditions.
The Customer is fully responsible for any damage, loss, theft, misuse, or deterioration of the vehicle during the rental period.
The Customer is responsible for all accident-related costs, repairs, legal costs, third-party claims, penalties, and civil liabilities arising during the rental period.
All damages and losses must be paid by the Customer in full, based on actual repair and related cost assessments.
04. Charges, Cancellation & Refunds
Daily rental charges apply based on the selected vehicle and booking duration.
Extra mileage charges apply if the permitted mileage limit is exceeded. Late return charges also apply based on the delay period.
Customers may cancel a booking before the rental start time. A fixed cancellation fee of LKR 10,000 will be deducted from the paid amount.
The remaining refundable balance will be processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 working days, subject to payment provider processing timelines.
05. Payments, Vehicle Return & Acceptance
All rental payments must be completed before or at the start of the rental period, as instructed by Ziply.
The vehicle must be returned on time, at the agreed location, with the same fuel level and in the same condition as received.
If the vehicle is returned late, additional hourly or daily charges may apply according to Ziply pricing rules.
By completing a booking, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and agrees to comply with all responsibilities stated above.
